Built solo

Projects

Small, opinionated software built alone: proofs that domain knowledge plus narrow scope plus modern tooling is enough to ship something real.

  1. firenum.com

    2025

A financial-independence planner that runs entirely in your browser.

Multi-currency FIRE planning with Monte Carlo simulations: no account, no server-side math, nothing leaves your device. Built with Astro and Preact on Cloudflare. The project that convinced me client-side can carry more than people assume.

  2. jasnedane.sk

    2025

A tax calculator for self-employed people in Slovakia.

Slovak self-employment tax is a maze of thresholds, levies, and special cases. This turns it into a few honest numbers. Domain knowledge is the hard part; the code is the easy part. That is exactly the shift I keep writing about.

  3. tomanka.com

    2026

This site, and the engine behind it.

A static Astro site, plus a private pipeline that turns years of my own working notes and conversations into a knowledge graph, then surfaces what I have something to say about. The site is the visible half.
